Boitson’s.

Boitson’s is a beloved American bistro in Uptown Kingston. From the apps to the entrees, Boitson’s has something for everyone. This holiday season, Boitson’s will be open and accepting reservations from 4-10 on Christmas Eve, 5-11 on New Year’s Eve, and 4-10 on New Year’s Day. There may also be some room for walk-ins. The restaurant will be closed on Christmas Day. 


Brunette.

Brunette in the Kingston Rondout is a wonderful natural wine bar serving a carefully curated selection of wine, beer, cider, and small plates. Brunette has also been known to have some exceptional playlists, so go for the tunes as well! This holiday season the bar will be closed the week of Christmas, but will re-open for service on December 29th, December 30th, and will be open for oysters and bubbly on December 31st, New Year’s Eve.


Cucina.

Cucina opened in Woodstock in 2006, and since that day, it has been a beloved Hudson Valley classic. Serving contemporary Italian fare and lots of locally sourced ingredients, a dinner at Cucina will always do the trick. The restaurant’s wine list is also delightful, featuring an impressive selection of Italian bottles. This holiday season, Cucina will be open on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve. The special menus for these days can be found online, and reservations are recommended.

Gaskins in Germantown is a destination in and of itself. Gaskins is a fantastic restaurant serving largely locally sourced ingredients and elevated New American cuisine, and it will be open on New Year’s Eve for a very special evening. With seatings at 5pm, 7pm, and 9pm, Gaskins will be serving a 4 course dinner at $90 per person, with a champagne tower toast at midnight for those who reserve the 9pm seatings. (Check out the menu here!) Please note, to combat the spread of COVID-19, Gaskins requires proof of vaccination for all indoor guests, kids included. A la carte dining will also be available at the bar, but reservations are still required. Reservations can be made by emailing hello@gaskins.com


Good Night.

Good Night in Woodstock, opened by the family that created Silvia, is a very new addition to town, but it is already a hit. Unlike Silvia, Good Night’s menu focuses specifically on South East Asian cuisine with an added modern twist. Good Night serves delicious, creative food with an equally notable bar program. For its first holiday season, Good Night will be open for normal service, 5pm – 9 pm on December 24th. It will be closed on the 25th, Christmas Day, and will reopen on the 26th. For New Years Eve, Good Night is offering a special 4 course pre-fixe menu at $125.00 per person. A champagne toast is included. Service that evening will run from 5 pm until 10 pm. 


Lunch Nightly.

Lunch Nightly is a delicious, chill eatery that functions as a butcher, a deli, and a bar all in one. Serving killer sandwiches during the day and delicious dinners at night, Lunch Nightly has it all. This holiday season the restaurant will be open on December 30th-January 1st for dinner, and they plan on doing something a little extra special on New Year’s Eve. Silvia.

Silvia in Woodstock has only been open since 2017, but it quickly became an important addition to the town’s restaurant scene. Offering a delicious assortment of creative starters, salads, and mains, Silvia demonstrates a clear focus on using locally sourced and/or sustainably grown ingredients. The innovative cocktails and meticulous wine list are an added bonus! Silvia is currently functioning with dine-in service only, and will be open for service on December 24th and 31st, but closed on Christmas Day. On the 31st, New Year’s Eve, there will be some special featured menu items. Reservations are always encouraged, and can be made directly on Silvia’s website through RESY.
