Ominous Angels: Art Opening at Le Shag
We’re excited to host Ominous Angels, a new art show featuring works by Xek Noir & Atropa, opening at Le Shag on July 19 from 6–10 pm.
About the Artists:
Born in the Hudson Valley, Xek Noir is a multimedia artist whose work explores escapism, sensuality, memory, and fantasy. Her pieces move through shadow and light, offering a lush space to lose yourself.

Atropa (Carly)
Originally from Rochester, NY, Carly’s work stretches across poetry, painting, hair, and makeup. What started as childhood journaling grew into poetry and zines, she’s self-published two: Asleep on the road and Reaching out the window, both blending original poems and photographs. Her visual art dives into solitude, liminal spaces, world-building, and femininity. She loves when people see pieces of themselves in her work.
